Jury Finds Pizzaro Not Guilty In The Death Of A 12 Year Old

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Jury in the Johanen Pizzaro trial has found him not guilty.

Johanen Pizzaro was accused of firing a gun about a dozen times into a home on John Street in October of last year, killing 12-year-old James Springer III.

The prosecution says Pizzaro fired the gun under the orders of Alberto Pinet as payback against a man who broke Pinet’s jaw earlier that day.

Pinet will spend 12 years in prison after a plea deal.
