Onondaga County And Lyft Team Up To Help Job-Seekers Get To Work

A new program in Onondaga County is set to help welfare recipients get to and from their jobs:

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced that the county is pairing with rideshare company Lyft to help job-seekers get to work that may not be immediately accessible through public transportation. The pilot program is covered by the county through the JOBSPlus! employment agency, in conjunction with three local companies in need of employees. Lyft will also make stops at childcare facilities along the way if needed.
