Utica, N.Y. - The investigation into the murder near the Boilermaker led police to Cicero.
Utica Police say a woman was stabbed to death by her suicidal boyfriend about a half mile from the start of the race. Officers say the man did make an attempt to harm himself and was hospitalized.
The investigation into the murder brought investigators to a home on Minoa Bridgeport Road off of Rte. 298.
