Second Syracuse Shooting In As Many Days, Both In Broad Daylight

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police are asking for Tips as they continue investigating a broad daylight shooting that left a man in critical condition:

Officers say that the rushed over to the intersection of Salina Street and West Lafayette Avenue around 4:30 yesterday after shot spotter and 911 calls indicated a shooting in the area.

They found several shell casings but no victim.

A 43-year-old man did eventually end up at the hospital with gunshot wounds. He was listed in crtical condition.
