Syracuse, N.Y. - Some bad news from some local businesses.
Rite Aid, one of the last retail stors in ShoppingTown Mall, is closing, along with two others in the Syracuse area.
ShoppingTown and Old Liverpool Road pharmacy will close June 10, the store June 24th.
Grant Boulevard will close its pharmacy June 12 and store June 26.

Also Syracuse-based Carrols Restaurant Group, the nation’s biggest Burger King franchisee, reported a loss of more than $11 million in the first quarter.
The loss exceeded the company’s entire profit from last year despite sales of over $290 million.
