Camillus, N.Y. - DOT Officials say that they are going to keep Route 174 between Marcellus and Camillus closed for a while longer.
Pieces of concrete have started to fall off of the rail bridge between Forward and Martisco Roads. Officials say that the underpass is structurally sound but the debris is significant enough to damage passing vehicles and must be replaced before the road can be reopened.
Engineers and state DOT officials have met to discuss options.
There is still no timeline when the road along Nine Mile Creek will reopen.
