Syracuse, N.Y. - Starting Nov 1st you need to slow down on one road in Onondaga County.
The New York State DOT reminds motorists the speed limit along Onondaga Lake Parkway reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph beginning today until April 1 of next year. This reduction in speed takes place every year during this time period. Lowering the speed limit during the winter weather months is meant to promote driver awareness and increase safety along this busy route.
