DeWitt, N.Y. - The company that owns ShoppingTown Mall says it's taking Onondaga County to court.
At issue is the county's announcement it's taking control of the property after years of unpaid taxes. Moonbeam Capital Investments had until late Friday afternoon to pay back millions of dollars. The mall was supposed to be auctioned off today, but that's been delayed.
A hearing on the lawsuit is set for November 1st.
