Syracuse Police Arrest 10 During Downtown Protest

Syracuse police made 10 arrests Tuesday after demonstrating protesters refused to stop trespassing inside a downtown office building.Officers sent to 401 South Salina Street just after 1 pm were responding to reports of somewhere between 50 and a hundred people were inside the building lobby, possibly protesting ICE.  The building does house the US Citizenship and Immigration Services office.  Most of the protesters disbanded when requested by police, but 10 of the protesters refused.  Officers then arrested the group on charges of tresspassing. They were taken to the Justice Center to await arraignment.
