State Police arrested Kelly A. Churney, age 39, from Auburn, NY for Petit Larceny, a class “A” misdemeanor. Churney, a nurse at a local doctor’s office in the town of DeWitt, is accused of taking an Apple iPhone 6 plus from a patient’s purse, while the victim was using the restroom. The value of the smart phone is estimated at $749.00. Churney was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of DeWitt court on July 3, 2018 at 6 p.m.
