Key Player In NCAA Tournament Run Leaves The Orange

Another departure is coming to the Orange.

Braedon Bayer will be transferring to another school. He played a key role in Syracuse's NCAA tournament win over Michigan State, after Frank Howard fouled out. Bayer walked-on to the Orange after transferring to Syracuse University from Grinnell (Iowa) College.

His dad tweeted that Bayer will be leaving Syracuse University as a Grad Transfer. This allows him to play next year and not sit out like Matt Moyer has to.

The injury laden Moyer announced on Twitter that he was leaving the team and transferring to a new school earlier this week.
