Syracuse, N.Y. - State Senator John DeFrancisco is picking up an endorsement from the man that beat him out to be the Senate Majority Leader.
Yesterday, Sen. John Flanagan announced that he was supporting DeFrancisco. He said DeFrancisco is the right person to run against Governor Cuomo.
Right now DeFrancisco has about a third of the support he needs to cinch the nomination when Republicans pick their candidate for Governor in May. Former Erie County Executive Joel Giambra and former Pataki administration official Joe Holland are also seeking the GOP nomination.
