Cuomo Chief Of Staff: Trial Won't Damage Gov.'s Political Future

New York - Governor Cuomo's Chief of Staff says that his political ambitions will not be damaged by this trial after giving two-full days of Testimony in the Trial of  most trusted confidant.

Lisa Lacewell told reporters clustered at the steps outside a Manhattan Federal Courthouse that the trial would not hurt the political future of a governor who is considered a possible White House candidate in 2020. It is the first acknowledgement by anybody close to the Governor that he is considering a run. 

Percoco, Cuomo's former executive deputy secretary, has pleaded not guilty to charges that he pocketed over $300,000 in bribes to help three businessmen clear state government obstacles. Percoco and the businessmen, which include a pair of Executives from Fayetteville's COR Development, have pleaded not guilty.
