The elderly former mayor of a Jefferson County village has been arrested and charged with engaging in sexual acts with a young victim.
Sheriffs Deputies have arrested 78 year old Dale Kenyon on 22 counts of a Criminal Sex Act .. He's the former mayor of the Village of Clayton. Investigator say Kenyon was engaged in sexual acts with the young victim over the course of three years.
Deputies say the abuse started in 2009 when the victim was just 14. Kenyon was also arrested six years ago on a public lewdness charges after he exposed himself to his neighbor's children. Kenyon is now being held on $10,000 bail and deputies are asking anyone with further information on the former mayor to contact the Sheriffs Department.
