A flood warning is in effect for Cayuga, Cortland, Oneida, Oswego, and Thompkins counties. A beaver dam broke in Amboy Sunday causing flooding on State Route 183. A river flood warning is in effect through Tuesday morning for the Mohawk River at Delta Dam. Fair Haven's mayor is looking to possibly ask for prison inmates to help with sandbag duty. Mayor James Basile says he wants emergency reinforcements brought in by Tuesday. The National Guard and prison inmates could be among those Cayuga County asks to help out. Basile says the water level is rising and he's not sure how long they can hold out without help.
