Truck Slams Into Tully Home

A rubbish removal truck has crashed into a home in Tully. Onondaga County Sheriffs Deputies say the crash occurred at a home on Route 80 when 25 year old Kyle Freeman of Syracuse told police he was traveling along Strong Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Route 80.His truck then continued across Route 80 and left the roadway and struck the house.

The impact from the collision caused significant damage to the home and it took crews several hours to pry the truck away. Freeman told deputies that his brakes failed as he was coming down a hill on String Road.Freemen suffered a leg injury in the crash.The homeowner was not home at the time of the crash.
