Two people are in serious condition after a car-motorcycle crash early this morning on East Adams Street in Syracuse.
Police say a Ford Taurus hit the motorcycle at the intersection of Adams and McBride Streets when it drove through a red flashing light. The motorcycle operator and his female passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries. The Taurus driver was identified as Larry Benton of Syracuse. Neither he or his passenger were injured. Benton has been charged with vehicular assault, DWI, and a pair of traffic infractions. He is in the Justice Center awaiting arraignment.
