A State Trooper has helped save a life at the State Fair.

At approximately 11:15am, Trooper Alan E. Heath, assigned to the New York State Fair, responded to a reported apparent heart attack victim near the coliseum and cattle barn on the New York State Fairgrounds.   

 Trooper Heath arrived and observed an unresponsive 65 year-old male victim lying on the ground.  He then utilized his assigned Automatic External Defibrillator on the victim who was able to regain conciousness.  The victim was transported by Rural Metro Ambulance to Crouse-Irving memorial Hospital where is was listed in stable condition.
