A two-car crash in Oswego County reportedly caused by a state trooper who ran a stop sign sent both drivers to the hospital.
State police say that Trooper Eric Parsons was in a patrol car on Middle Road in Scriba when he failed to stop at the intersection of County Route 29. The other driver, who was on Route 29, crashed into the side of the patrol vehicle. Both Parsons and the other driver were taken to Upstate University Hospital for minor injuries. Parsons is a 28-year veteran of the state police.
