Oswego, N.Y. - An Oswego County sex offender who was going to be released next week, is having his release delayed.

Ray Younis pleaded guilty to 86 counts of sex abuse against 17 victims back in 1998.  After serving 16 years out of his 20-year sentence, Younis was scheduled to be released from prison because of good behavior.  Yesterday, the Oswego County District Attorney's office said his release had been pushed back, but would not comment on how long it would be delayed.
