Saab Sensis is reporting a planned layoff of 30 employees in two of their locations, including East Syracuse.

The company says in a statement that the layoffs will be limited to its civilian Air Traffic operations. They also say the jobs are being eliminated, in their words, "in order to balance our capacity with our current and anticipated backlog." The company hasn't indicated how many of the 30 layoffs will come from East Syracuse, or when those layoffs will occur.
