A Rome woman is in jail after police learned she had left her three children alone at home for nearly a day.

State police say that Leah Internicola is in the Oneida County Jail.  She is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child for leaving her children, aged 1, 2, and 3, alone for almost 19 hours in conditions troopers described as "deplorable."  Internicola was also charged with marijuana possession.  There's no report of what she was doing while her children were at home.
