Rochester, NY - We're learning more about the weekend arrest of a Rochester man accused by the FBI of plotting against members of the U.S. military returning from Iraq and against Shi'a Muslims living in Western New York.

According to a criminal complaint filed by an investigator with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, Mufid Elfgeeh is charged with two counts of receiving and possessing an unregistered silencer.

The FBI says it has recordings of his conversations with confidential sources, and Elfgeeh's public Twitter posts expressing support for terrorist organizations, as well as other evidence. The sworn complaint says Elfgeeh is from Yemen but is a naturalized U.S. citizen and owns a food store at 1193 North Clinton Avenue.
