Onondaga County will make reverse 911 calls to residents near the planned aerial spraying at Cicero swamp Tuesday to stop the spread of the EEE virus.

County health officials confirmed that they found mosquitoes containing the potentially deadly virus.  They say the public will be asked to stay indoors during spraying, and should also move indoors any furniture or toys that may be exposed to the spraying.

Spraying of the swamp and the vicinity is expected to begin Tuesday at 6pm, weather permitting.
