Syracuse, NY - The lawsuit against 80s rock icon and soap opera heart throb Rick Springfield has been tossed out.
The judge declared a mistrial after new evidence was submitted Wednesday morning.
In the suite Vicki Calcagno, of Liverpool, claims that she suffers from chronic pain when Springfield fell on her during a rambunctious performance at the State Fair in 2004.
While receiving heavy criticism on social media Calcagno’s attorney told the judge that one person mentioned that they were also struck by Springfield during the same performance. The lawyer said he wanted to reopen his case with new witnesses. The judge said he would grant that and give the defense 24 hours to review the new witnesses.
