Beware of a call you may get from someone claiming you have won a big prize from Publisher's Clearing House, because it is likely just a big scam.

Fulton resident Fanny Knapp says she was suspicious when she was told to call a man named Michael Best to claim her prize.  Knapp says she knew it was a fake when the man told her to buy a fifty dollar gift card and mail it to him. Knapp says she decided to tell her story so others won't fall victim to this man's scheme.  Publisher's Clearing House has detailed the scam on their website as well.
