The Fayetteville-Manlius school board voted unanimously last night to start "full day" kindergarten this fall.

The F-M board voting for the change after a recommendation from Superintendent Corliss Kaiser, who said full-day kindergarted could help children meet Common Core requirements and possibly help boost their scores in math and literacy.

That leaves Baldwinsville now as the only school district in onondaga county with a "half day" kindergarten program.
