Dewitt Police credit teamwork with city and county law enforcement for the quick arrest of two people accused of robbing a bank on Nottingham Road.

Authorities say they learned the Bank of America was robbed by a armed woman who demanded money.  Witnesses say she fled the bank in a waiting car, which sped toward the city of Syracuse.  A description of the vehicle was sent out, and a county sheriff's deputy spotted the vehicle.  With help from Syracuse police, the car was stopped and the occupants were taken into custody.

Police say Daniella Pierre and Timothy Sholtz of Syracuse have both been charged with robbery in the 2nd degree, grand larceny in the 3rd degree, and criminal use of a firearm in the 2nd degree.  The pair were remanded to the Justice Center on bail of $100,000 cash or bond.
