Posted May 7th, 2014 @ 4:53pm

OSHA has coted a Watertown construction company with serious violations after a deadly accident in Pulaski last fall.

23 year old Kyle Brown was killed in November after the wind blew him off a roof at a construction site and he fell 25 feet to his death.

OSHA says Brown's death was completely preventable.

MTL Design has been cited for fialing to prove it's workers with proper safety equipment and training. An OSHA spokesman in Syracuse says Brown would be alive today if the company had followed the rules.

OSHA says falls are the leading cause of death in the construction industry. 22 people died last year in New York State because of similar accidents.

MTL Designs now faces fines that could total 88 thousand dollars for the violations.
