Girl Scouts in Central New York are on the lookout for more girls and adults to join in the fun.

Officials with the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways Inc. say fall is an ideal time to push for more girls to be involved with Girl Scouts.  They are also interested in finding both men and women to volunteer to work in a number of areas.

Recent research done by the Girl Scouts say parents of Girl Scouts believe the organization is a positive experience for their daughters, that they have fun and exciting experiences, and that they've learned or tried something new.  Parents also say their girls feel special, have more friends and are happier.

To join Girl Scouts, contact the Cicero Service Center at 315-698-9400, or visit the NYPENN Pathways website.
